Finca Mangato
The scenario where our wines are born is located in El Peral, Tupungato, at 1200 meters above sea level. A land with history, lovingly cultivated for more than 80 years by the Perinetti family.
The start: In 1940, Mr. Héctor Perinetti, son of Italian immigrants from Piedmont, bought plots of land in Tupungato with the desire to grow grapes and produce wine.
Too cold for reds: For many years, in Finca Mangato Semillon grapes were grown because it was considered a very cold climate.
Mrs. Estela Armando de Perinetti: The fourth generation of a winemaking family, also native from Piedmont, she decided to plant red varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah.
The fifth winemaking generation: Today, Estela and Federico Perinetti, both agronomists, manage the winemaking and oenological production.
